Flower taffeta is a jacquard fabric in taffeta, the ground pattern is plain weave, and the pattern is eight satin weave. Due to the close density of the warp threads, the pattern is highlighted and bright, the texture is firm, light and crisp, the color is bright, and the luster is soft, but it should not be folded and pressed. The patterns are generally medium-sized and large, and the patterns are smooth and generous. Suitable for clothing, umbrella cover and eiderdown cover.

A silk-like silk fabric woven from high-quality mulberry silk that has been degummed and cooked in a plain weave. The name comes from the English word taffeta, which means plain silk fabric. The warp is made of two colored and twisted cooked silks and the weft is made of three colored and twisted cooked silks. The density of the warp and weft is higher and the warp density is greater than the weft density. The silk surface is compact and clean, flat and smooth, and is not easy to be stained with dust. The downside is that the folds will create creases after heavy pressure. In addition to the traditional mulberry silk taffeta, double palace silk, spun silk, rayon silk, nylon silk, etc. can be used as raw materials to weave various artificial silk taffeta, and silk and cotton can also be interwoven. Fancy varieties include plain, flash, stripe and jacquard.

The mulberry silk is first refined and degummed to become the warp and weft threads of the silk, and the first refined silk is woven with plain weave, also known as cooked goods. There are three kinds of plain taffeta, striped taffeta and flower taffeta, all of which are traditional varieties that are famous in the world and special varieties of Suzhou and Hangzhou in my country.
